The Falcon 20 resurrects the Gibson amp icon and delivers vintage tone, reimagined in an upgraded rendering with valuable new features and all the original magic intact, and then some.
While inspired by the Gibson Falcon amps from the 1960s, this all-new Petaluma, California, USA-built design from renowned amp pioneer Randall Smith and the MESA/Boogie Design Team sets a new bar in low-power tone. The Falcon 20 stands apart from its predecessors due to the constructional upgrades and tonal improvements unearthed over Randall’s five decades of tube amp design experience and performance - pushing ideology that deliver nothing less than astonishing results.
The Falcon 20 features single-channel simplicity with a focus on great tone and ease of use. The ultra-simple, pure signal path design has controls consisting of Volume and Tone, plus the addition of footswitchable Reverb and Tremolo, which add dimensionality and motion and immensely increase the amp’s enjoyment and usefulness over a wide range of musical styles.
