CUSTOM PROJECTS

Gibson Custom Shop Made to Measure Program

Here at Dexter Music Center, the majority of our guitars from the Gibson Custom Shop are limited runs. Built to our specifications, including hand-picked maple tops. We work closely with our Gibson Project Specialist to assure everything is just right. If you would like to get a price quote on your “dream guitar,” please contact us with your ideas. We will walk you through the process and provide you with a quote and a detailed spec sheet.

We look forward to your next build!

At the Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville, every day is a new thrill. Down the road from the main Gibson craftory, Gibson Custom luthiers build our most coveted instruments with uncompromising craftsmanship, artistry, and historical accuracy. No detail is too fine, no labor too intensive. Our expert craftspeople develop, build, and custom-age each guitar with the obsession of a true aficionado.

Meanwhile, at the Gibson Acoustic Custom Shop in Bozeman, we continue our tradition of acoustic instrument-making that dates back more than 130 years. The world has changed, but the art has stayed much the same. We still get our clear, rich sound from carefully chosen tonewoods, we fit each dovetail neck joint by hand, and we craft our guitars to improve with age.
